It is widely agreed on among auto enthusiasts that installing window film is one of the simplest and most cost effective ways to enhance your vehicles appearance. Even our lightest shades of film help add a sleek, “finished” look to any vehicle.
Window film helps to keep your vehicles interior from fading by blocking the sun’s damaging rays.
Our window films reduce up to 93% of the glare from direct sunlight, allowing you to see more clearly (This can be especially beneficial for our bright sunny, snow-covered Minnesota winter days).
Our window film helps to hold glass together in the event of window breakage. Whether from an accident or an attempted break-in, when installed on a vehicle, window film keeps glass from shattering and can make it more difficult to see any valuables inside.”
Minnesota state law allows a maximum tint of 50% VLT (variable light transmittance) on all passenger vehicle side and back windows as well as on the front two door windows of SUVs, trucks and avant-wagons (no tint limit on other windows). No amount of window film is legal on the front window of vehicles in MN. Tint laws vary greatly state to state.
All of our automotive window film installations are backed by a limited lifetime warranty (entire ownership of vehicle). This covers fading, bubbling, peeling, discoloration and installation errors.
The time needed for a precise, quality installation varies with each vehicle and film type but generally will take 2.5 hours for a complete vehicle tint and 1-1.5 hours for a two front door installation.
No, all of the film that we carry will not have any effect of your vehicles rear defroster or cause radio interference.
Fix? – No, remove and replace? Yes! Bad looking, purple and/or bubbling window film is usually due to using a poor quality, cheap product or a poor, non-professional installation and cannot be fixed but we do offer removal service. We fix $50 dollar tint jobs!
We recommend waiting at least one week after installation before washing the inside of tinted windows. Only use a window cleaner without ammonia and a soft cloth or rubber squeegee. We recommend foam cleaners because they do not streak, and are usually ammonia-free. Never scrape the film with any type of blade or clean your tinted windows with anything abrasive, as it will scratch the film.
This stands for visible light transmission. This means that after the film has been applied to your windows, the VLT percentage is the amount of light that the film will allow to transmit through the glass. The lower the VLT, the darker the film.”
